Every time I look, I see this stupid little "war" everyone on NG is bitching about. This "original movies" vs "sprites" or "VG characters" shit.

Let's go ahead and review what a few words mean. I'll pill these from Webster's dictionary, so no one can refute this for it's FACT, not Fiction.

So. Here's where you and your OPINION comes in.

Say I make a flash movie. The movie uses a character named Bob: The Magic Dildo. I've made an original CHARACTER, with an original CONCEPT. Both are my own ideas and it makes the movie original because of this.

Say I make another flash movie. It stars Star Wolf and he's opening a bakery. I'm using *someone else's original charcter, but using MY OWN *original* concept. It uses a Nintendo brand character, but guess what dick cheese, it's still original because of the overlaying concept. So like the previous example, it's STILL original, it's just using an unoriginal character.

If you must know *my* opinion, I like both. Doesn't matter if it's sprites or hand drawn. If someone actually puts effort (like the SF2 vs MK series) and you simply CAN'T see it because of your biasm, you need to kill yourself.

This is LRN/Akubarix (yes, the Monster Hunter guy); telling you to widen your scope.
